Description
Summary:This paper discusses a research approach designed to study the development of pedagogical practices which break with traditional pedagogies through a collaborative framework. It is illustrated by a research project carried out in a REP+ primary school on the theme of pupil well-being in the school setting based on flexible learning environments. This study, which combines epistemological and methodological issues with the practical challenges of collaboration between researchers and actors in the field, enables us to highlight the supports, obstacles and tensions associated with this type of collaborative research to develop alternative pedagogies. We assume that this is a fruitful way of encouraging the renewal of the school system through the integration of teaching practices nurtured by ideas and systems derived from 'different pedagogies', while preventing the potential pitfall of the vulgates often associated with these borrowings.
