description Visual inspection of carcasses and internal organs of laying quails of control and experimental groups revealed that morphology of their organs and tissues corresponded to species, age and physiological parameters of birds. Distinctive feature in the micromorphology of the stomach and small intestine of laying quails was noted - activation of gland function, abundance of mucus, insignificant amount of sloughed epitheliocytes on the mucosa of the organs, with a greater degree of manifestation in the stomach in birds receiving dried form, and in the intestine - in quails receiving the native form of black soldier fly larvae. The microstructure of the liver of laying quails of the experimental groups was characterised by a lower degree of fatty degeneration.
