ResumenEl final de la Guerra Civil española supone el inicio de toda una serie de actuaciones encaminadas a recomponer el país, siendo una de las más importantes la reconstrucción de las ciudades que habían sido arrasadas por el conflicto bélico. En 1939 se crearon varios organismos de intervención estatal, entre ellos la Dirección General de Regiones Devastadas (DGRD). Este organismo contaba con una distribución administrativa descentralizada en oficinas comarcales que actuaban en los pueblos adoptados, agrupados geográficamente según zonas. El artículo es un extracto de una tesis que tiene por objetivo mostrar la obra promovida por la DGRD en la zona de Levante. Para ello, se expondrán los objetivos del organismo y las intervenciones desarrolladas en los pueblos adoptados en el conjunto del territorio español, así como las desarrolladas en Levante. Se ha recurrido a las fuentes originales de los proyectos a través de archivos públicos y privados, se han realizado visitas de campo a las distintas poblaciones, se ha contado con entrevistas de personajes próximos a los arquitectos participantes, y se ha hecho un vaciado de la revista Reconstrucción. AbstractThe end of the Spanish Civil War marks the beginning of a whole series of actions aimed at rebuilding the country, one of the most important being the reconstruction of the cities that had been devastated by the war. In 1939, several state intervention agencies were created, including the Dirección General de Regiones Devastadas (DGRD). This organization had a decentralized administrative distribution in regional offices that operated in the adopted towns, grouped geographically according to areas. The article is an excerpt from a thesis that aims to show the work promoted by the DGRD in the Levante area. To this end, the objectives of the organization and the interventions developed in the adopted towns throughout the Spanish territory, as well as those developed in the Levant, will be explained. The original sources of the projects have been used through public and private archives, field visits have been made to the different towns, there have been interviews with people close to the participating architects, and an emptying of the Reconstruction magazine. |
