| Summary: | The protein content and grain weight of 8 barley cultivars were studied at six locations in Zhejiang province. The results showed that there were significant differences in protein content and grain weight among barley cultivars and growing locations. It also showed that there were significantly positive correlation between protein content and accumulated temperature(>20 ℃),and mean sunshine, but no significant correlation with mean rainfall. Grain weight showed greater variation in different locations than protein content. Best barley cultivars were determined in terms of protein content and grain weight. |
