| description | The conducted scientific research is devoted to the diagnosis of the business potential of domestic enterprises, since the modern conditions of doing business are characterized as complex, uncertain, burdened by the consequences of the russian-Ukrainian war and the destabilization of all spheres of activity. The article clarifies the essence of the concept of «business potential» as the ability of a business entity to economic development. It has been established that business potential has a direct impact on the financial condition of the enterprise, the level of its competitiveness, and ensures the achievement of business goals. It is substantiated that the diagnosis of business potential is one of the main stages of managing the potential of an enterprise. Conducting business diagnostics in the form of a comprehensive study involves the use of reliable and up-to-date information in order to form suitable conclusions and forecasts for the justification of management decisions regarding development prospects, priority actions of the enterprise, ways to overcome crisis situations and problems in the structure of business potential. The grouping of diagnostic methods was carried out in accordance with the goals of the diagnosis (diagnostics of the strategic perspective of development; diagnostics of competitiveness; diagnostics of the components of business potential; diagnostics of the possibility of the onset of a financial crisis), which contributes to increasing the efficiency of its implementation. It has been proven that achieving the goal and solving the tasks of diagnosing business potential is possible due to: the formation of reliable information support; successful selection of diagnostic methods; analytical substantiation of the conclusion regarding the state and opportunities of business potential; development and implementation of measures to improve the existing situation; conducting control over the implementation of measures. |
