| Summary: | Present research deals with the peculiarities of such notions as literary texts architectonics and composition while writer’s individual style and individual speech investigating. The aim of given article is considered to be opportune due to the fact that studying of literary text through the prism of the author’s individual speech model analysis is one of the most significant and relevant tasks of modern linguistic science. Analytical review of recent scientific publications devoted to the study of architectonic and compositional structure of literary texts is conducted. The linguistic interpretation of the concepts of architectonics and composition, their definitions, place and functions in the formation of unique stylistics of the author’s work is presented and substantiated. The composition of the literary text is viewed as specific multilevel semantic structure that integrates all linguistic, stylistic, figurative-symbolic and pragmatic means of the author on different
speech levels. We outline the following functions of architectonics and composition as integral parts of literary text: structural function, esthetic function, stylistic function, pragmatic function, cognitive function, function of individualization of the author’s speech. It has been concluded that while studying the architectonics
and composition of the literary text philologists investigate the types of intertextual connections, the interdependence of form, content and plot, the peculiarities of the alternation of different types of speech and narration, the interaction of content, formal, formal-content and figurative-symbolic levels, the correlation of the
construction of literary text with speech acts (communicative aspect). These studies are conducted through
the prism of linguistic, communicative-pragmatic and cognitive approaches to the analysis of literary text.
Apart from that, the principal research methods of compositional analysis as well as key research
stages of the methodological procedure have been investigated. The most relevant methodology of studying the architectonic and compositional structure of literary texts in the course of the author’s idiostyle
complex analysis is determined and revised. We define that it relies on the complex study within three
compositional levels of the author’s text: content level (interrelated external textual constituents), formal
level (interrelated internal textual constituents), formal-content level (interrelated architectonic-speech
constituents and compositional-speech constituents). The prospect of further research is considered in applying the abovementioned methodology to the author’s idiostyle study (dramatic genre). |
