| description | A new modulation scheme for reducing switching loss was introduced for three-level active neutral-point-clamped (ANPC) inverter topology. The loss in each switch state was analyzed qualitatively; based on zero-order injection carrier-modulation method, a dynamic minimum switching loss modulation scheme was proposed; Simulation model was built to test and verify the applicability of this scheme in controlling the CRH380A EMUs motor and resistance-inductance load. The results showed that this topology modulation scheme reduced the total switching loss, balanced the loss distribution and efficiently improved the thermal stability of traction system. |
