One such solution is the use of Bitcoin mixing services, commonly referred to as mixers, which are employed to increase user privacy. However, their use can be controversial, as while they serve to enhance financial privacy, they can also be exploited for illicit purposes. One of the challenges faced by law enforcement is identifying suspicious Bitcoin addresses. The purpose of this article is to examine the behavior of selected cryptocurrency mixers as a foundation for future research in this area.
