| description | At recent, medium borosilicate glass is most commonly used as the main material of medical glass at home and abroad. In this paper the influence of B2O3 on the structure and properties of medium borosilicate medical glass was studied in this paper. The glass structure was analyzed by Raman spectra, and the processing properties and the chemical properties of glass were studied. The results showed that when the addition of B2O3 increased, the coefficient of thermal expansion decreased at first and then increased. The chemical stability increased first and then decreased. The transition point, softening point, strain point, annealing temperature, softening point and high temperature viscosity decreased with the increase of the addition of B2O3. ΔT decreased but was always higher than 570°C. The surface tension approaching 350 mN/m decreased first and then increased with the content of B2O3 increased. The prepared glass is suitable for Danner processing. |
