Description
Summary:After the onset of a full-scale invasion, representatives of various nationalities, religious beliefs, social groups, and professions have joined the ranks of the Armed Forces. This diversity may complicate communication and affect the efficiency of joint tasks due to cultural and linguistic differences, making the development of intercultural competence among military personnel an extremely important task. The article discusses the concepts of “culture”, “subculture”, and “intercultural competence of future lecturers of higher military educational institutions”, analyzing leading ideas, approaches, and principles according to which the pedagogical model for the development of intercultural competence of future lecturers of higher military educational institutions was designed. The purpose of the article is to develop and justify the pedagogical model for the development of intercultural competence of lecturers of higher military educational institutions responsible for shaping the intercultural competence of students (cadets, servicemen). During the research, methods such as systematic analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, comparison, generalization, forecasting, and pedagogical modeling were used. The pedagogical model for the development of intercultural competence of future lecturers of higher military educational institutions is aimed at studying the advanced experience of intercultural interaction of the armed forces of NATO member countries, its analysis, and implementation in the educational process. The author's model also involves the development of educational and methodological materials taking into account the cultural peculiarities of students (cadets, servicemen), as well as conducting classes in an intercultural environment. We believe that the use of technologies, teaching methods, and tools will contribute to the development of intercultural competence of future university instructors, enabling them to work effectively in a multicultural environment and prepare students for joint tasks with representatives of different cultures.
