Description
Summary:SDG12 is one of the top three Sustainable Development Goals that require more urgent action. Hence, this work aims to develop and validate a conceptual model that measures the main factors which may influence university students’ sustainable consumption and to determine to what extent each one influences Sustainable Consumption Behavior. Partial Least Squares modeling is used to develop and validate the proposed model. The results indicate that Sustainable Consumption Behavior is determined by Environmental Education and Information, Green Purchase and Sustainable Consumption Habits. Identifying what motivates people to adopt this form of behavior is extremely helpful for designing relevant strategies that specifically aim to stimulate positive responses concerning the environment, economy and society.
