description In order to study the influence of gear eccentricity errors on the load sharing performance of each branch of the split torque and power confluence gear transmission system, the load sharing mechanism of the transmission system was analyzed. A coupled bent-torsional dynamics model with eccentricity errors was established by the lumped mass method, and the dynamic equation was solved by the Newmark-<inline-formula><alternatives><math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" id="M3"><mi mathvariant="normal">β</mi></math><graphic specific-use="big" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" xlink:href="alternativeImage/2CB62BFA-F821-4fd5-9D8F-9D6109CF210A-M003.jpg"><?fx-imagestate width="2.28600001" height="3.38666677"?></graphic><graphic specific-use="small" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" xlink:href="alternativeImage/2CB62BFA-F821-4fd5-9D8F-9D6109CF210A-M003c.jpg"><?fx-imagestate width="2.28600001" height="3.38666677"?></graphic></alternatives></inline-formula> method. The load sharing coefficient of each branch was calculated, and the variation of dynamic load sharing coefficients with or without eccentricity error was compared. Through two sets of numerical simulation, the influence of eccentricity errors of different gears on load sharing coefficients of each branch was investigated. The results show that the eccentricity error of gears intensifies the amplitude fluctuation of load sharing coefficient of each branch of the system, and the load sharing coefficient of the right branch is smaller than that of the left branch in the closed-loop arrangement. When each level of gear eccentricity error acts independently, the influence of gear eccentricity error on the load sharing coefficient of the branch where the gear is located is more obvious. When all levels of gear eccentricity errors act together, the load sharing performance of the power confluence stage is worse than that of the split torque stage, which indicates that the errors have the cumulative effect in the process of power transmission. It provides reference for the optimization of load sharing performance of the transmission system.
