| Summary: | This article treats flows of the French migrants towards Mexico with the XIXth century. The analysis, which rests on the rich person documentation of obtaining the passports releases the sociological profile of the migrant fraçais. Contrary to the a long time received ideas, these young migrants are originating in almost all the French departments. But, their presence in Mexico is also often a passage before the departure towards the sites of extration of orifère in the west of the United States.
