| Summary: | We describe and illustrate Rhopalopsole shennongjia sp. nov. (Plecoptera: Leuctridae) from Shennongjia Forestry District, Hubei Province of China. We performed genetic distance analysis through COI to match the male and female of the new species. Meanwhile, we have made a genetic distance analysis of Rhopalopsole. Moreover, we summarized the Leuctridae in Hubei Province and provide color plates of Rhopalopsole shaanxiensis Yang & Yang, 1994 (new record in Hubei), for its recognition. Finally, we provide a key to species of Rhopalopsole from Hubei, China. |
