Studies on the characteristics of xylanase

The characteristics of the xylanase from Trichoderma reesei strain GXC were studied. The results showed that the optimal temperature was 55℃ and pH 5.3 respectively, the range of pH stability was wide, the enzyme was stable below 40 ℃. Cu2+, Zn2+, Fe<...

The results showed that the optimal temperature was 55℃ and pH 5.3 respectively, the range of pH stability was wide, the enzyme was stable below 40 ℃. Cu2+, Zn2+, Fe2+ and Fe3+ had inhibitory effect on the enzyme activity, but Co2+ and Mn2+ could stimulate the activity. Vmax was 526 μmol / (min·mg), Km was 3.42 mg/mL.
