Summary:The main objective is to present and analyze the final result of the first case against Romania regarding the transposition of The Racial Equality Directive (2000/43/EC) and of The Equal Treatment Directive (2000/78/EC) into national legislation: preliminary ruling C-310/10 (Agafiţei and Others, Romania) and the possible impact of this case. In 2011 I published in CKS 2011 an article regarding the firs case against Romania regarding the transposition of The Racial Equality Directive (2000/43/EC) and of The Equal Treatment Directive (2000/78/EC) into national legislation. Meanwhile the European Court of Justice decided in this case.
