| Summary: | In the article proposed the geohistorical conception, according to which world history is the history of the change of geopolitical eras, meaning the periods of rule of the historically determined method of capture and division of the land, and change of these eras always takes the form of a geopolitical revolution, which is evident in the spatial transition from one political order to another. According to this conception, the world is currently experiencing a period of the Fourth geopolitical revolution. Its basic premise - the rise of the Non-West, opening of Space, and the growing rivalry of the great powers for its development, the finalization of American political hegemony (1990-2014) and join the West in the second stage of civilization (by O. Spengler), indicating the onset of the approximately 200-year era of the civil wars. |
