| Summary: | Abstract The inner cylinder as the main force structure of the industrial washing machine, the parameters of its components are too large to cause the waste of raw materials and too small to affect the working performance of the washing machine. Therefore, in this paper, the design variables screened out by sensitivity analysis are the thickness of the support frame, the thickness of the rear riser, the thickness of the deflector and the thickness of the ring plate, which have a significant effect on the quality of the inner cylinder. Then, the intermediate composite experiment is combined with response surface methodology to find the optimal combination of each parameter of the inner tube to achieve the purpose of lightweighting. After optimisation, the mass of the inner tube is reduced by 2.12 kg. The feasibility of this method is verified through the test, and the application of this method can avoid the waste of raw materials and reduce the cost of the industrial washing machine, which provides a scientific and accurate optimisation solution for this field. |
