| description | The holistic field of ecology (study of interactions between living beings and their environment, Haeckel, 1866) seems today in diverse disciplines of the human sciences (geography, law, politics…) to narrow to the study of Man in his environment. From this « new-ecology », is deriving the present concept of « ecological inequalities » which could be considered as a « convention of language » (Diebolt et al., 2005), neglecting the notion of Nature. The generalization of this paradigm encounters a true consensus in the frame of « développement durable » (French translation of « sustainable development ») which needs too a special analysis. Semantic shifting and neglected translations may induce the perversion of the best intentions. |
