Description
Summary:On the Atlantic coast, interactions between marine mammals and humans give rise to unique representations of living things, especially when solitary animals are involved. These interactions inspire biographical narratives in humans, which are mobilized during controversies that help transform the way we think about nature. In this paper, we follow three biographical narratives that shed light on these recompositions of the notions of “wild”, “harmful species”, or “Nature”.
