description The thermal parameters of polybutyl methacrylate–siloxane (PBMA–siloxane) coatings annealed at different temperatures were investigated by means of nondestructive techniques such as Photothermal Radiometry in the frequency domain and frequency-scan photothermal beam deflection spectrometry. The experimental PTR data were interpreted with the use of a model in which the PTR signal is collected from the whole coating’s thickness. A comparison of the results obtained using PTR and BDS methods is presented and discussed.
