FORMATION OF AN IMAGE OF THE ENEMY DURING THE FIRST WORLD WAR IN RUSSIA AND PROBLEM OF RUSSIANS PRISONERS OF WAR
In this paper specific feature of Russian public awareness campaign during war and reason for its inefficiency is studied. The author shows how Russian society’s attitude towards Russian prisoners of war depended on propaganda and military defeats.
