Description
Summary:Literary work is a complex cultural product, a stratified device of textual and extra-textual levels, which are formal, biographical and social. The literary voice emerges in the articulation of these levels. This paper, which intends to investigate the writing and literary work of Carlos Liscano, is a journey to the origins of the author's literary voice. The aim is to clarify the ways in which his vision and his voice are expressed through formal and stylistic choices. Therefore, the analysis is based on the integration of multiple perspectives. The philological attitude of literary criticism and the ability to detect connections of sociology allow to obtain an in-depth analysis and at the same time to restore complexity. The texts are addressed in their formal autonomy without neglecting their link with historical-biographical problems.
