| Summary: | The use of various mobile electro-technological installations and aggregates to perform various field operations (weeding, potato haulm desiccation, soil pest control, pre-harvest preparation of sunflower and tobacco, etc.), carried out directly in crops and plantings of cultivated crops or on agricultural land, is now considered as a quite effective alternative to chemical components, characterised by environmental friendliness and high efficiency. In the considered variant of technical realisation it is proposed to apply high voltage electrical pulses to disturb normal plant life. The purpose of the research presented in the article is to analyse possible variants of implementation of treatment of weeds and undesirable grasses with the purpose of their destruction, and to estimate the parameters of the output unit of the electrotechnological installation. Both, substantiated from the point of view of technological efficiency, variants of electric energy supply to weeds are realisable in practice and the choice of each of them is based on the configuration of the surface and the cultivated soil area, the degree of their infestation with specific types of undesirable grasses and the capacity of the electrotechnological mounted or trailed unit. At the same time, the voltage on the electrode system should be greater than the sum of the voltage drop on all elements of the treatment current flow circuit, and the choice of the capacitance value directly depends on the energy used for treatment of undesirable grasses, the treatment voltage and the operation mode of the capacitor bank. The proposed approach in estimating the parameters of the discharge circuit and electrode system relies on experimental prospecting studies with those species of weeds that directly grow in the places of application of the electric pulse unit. The presented sequence of determining the main parameters of the output unit of the unit - discharge circuit, should provide sufficient accuracy for practical adjustment and adjustment of the unit. |
