description The experiment of quick freezer’s refrigeration system is carried out to study it’s cooling curve and refrigeration performance. The experimental results show that: when the refrigeration system of the quick freezer begins to cool down, the evaporation temperature is dropped immediately to be close to the lowest evaporation temperature and the evaporator’s inlet temperature has a difference with water’s temperature about 25 ℃; the lower evaporating temperature leads to the smaller mass flow rate of refrigerant entering the compressor, and compressor’s power accounts for only about 60% of the rated power; the exergy loss is about 41% in the evaporator, thus to make the evaporation temperature match with the indoor temperature of quick freezer is an important means to increase the freezer’s cooling speed sharply.
