Es registra la presència del crustaci lofogàstrid Lophogaster spinosus en aigües del golf de Cadis, a l’Atlàntic nord-oriental. Aquesta és es la primera referència de l’espècie a les costes atlàntiques de la península Ibèrica. Les mostres es van obtenir mitjançant ròssec demersal durant una campanya de recerca pesquera al mes de març de 2008. Es van capturar un total de quatre individus. Les profunditats de captura estan compreses entre 363 i 548 m. |
