| description | Microfinance institutes offer credit facilities to landless and marginalized individuals to improve their socioeconomic conditions through business. Based on the resource-based view theory, this study examines how microfinance, loan cost, borrower satisfaction, business attitudes, and entrepreneurial qualities influence business sustainability. This study employed a convenient sampling technique to collect data from 847 respondents who were borrowers of various national and local microfinance institutes operating in the Khulna Division of Bangladesh. Structural equation modeling was performed to analyze the data using SPSS and Smart PLS 4.0 software. The results indicate that microfinance, loan cost, and entrepreneurial qualities influence borrower satisfaction, which results in sustainable business growth. In addition, borrowers' satisfaction influences their business attitude which in turn affects their sustainable business growth. However, borrowers’ business attitudes do not moderate the relationship between their satisfaction and sustainable business growth. |
