| Summary: | The article is devoted to the social development of Russian regions. The authors describe the procedure for finding its integral indicator. It is proposed to use the statistical collection «Regions of Russia, socio–economic indicators» as a source of information. The algorithm for determining the integral indicator of regional development is described, the formula for its calculation is given. The features and disadvantages that are possible when using numerical indicators of social orientation are determined. A practical example of calculating an integral indicator for the regions of the Central Federal District is given, calculated data on the level of social regional development are given. The analysis of the presented data is carried out, conclusions are drawn about possible directions and prospects for further research in temporal and spatial aspects. |
