description Wear life prediction, wear condition monitoring and op timal design of the parameters are three difficulties in wear studies. By introducing the concepts of position vector and wear step, the continuous wear process is discr etized, thus realizing the wear life prediction of the cam and the dynamic simul ation of the movement rule of the follower.
