In the present case, a 52-year-old man with epidermal inclusion cyst presented to the surgery outpatient department (OPD) with symptoms clinically mimicking as prepatellar bursitis, occurring at a rather unusual site, ie; the anterior aspect of the left knee. The possibility of an epidermal inclusion cyst should always be considered in an atypical soft tissue mass when presenting around the knee. Histopathological examination confirms the diagnosis. |
