Crises are a hallmark of the modern era. Various types of crises, both natural and man-made, have a significant impact on politics, society, economy. One of the most important challenges of the modern world are health crises.
Material and methods
To identify the phenomenon of health crises, a historical method supplemented with discourse analysis devoted to the issues discussed in the article was used
Results
Health crises were characterized as one of the most important challenges faced by modern people and conclusions were formulated for understanding health crises useful for science and practice.
Conclusions
Health crises inevitably accompany human development and have a significant impact on various areas of human life. The health crises presented in the study, including the case of the COVID-19 crisis, show that health crises are of great importance not only from the point of view of public health, but also have broad non-health consequences. |
