| Summary: | Sorghum is a very potential commodity in the food diversity and security program. Knowledge, attitudes and skills determine the behavior of farmers in crop cultivation, which has a very large influence on sorghum productivity. This study aims to analyze the behavior of farmers in increasing production and income of sorghum farming in Raji Village, Demak District, Demak Regency. The method in this research is a survey. Determination of the sample by purposive sampling, the number of samples was 130 respondents from a total of 195 sorghum farmers. The results showed that knowledge, attitudes and skills had a positive and significant effect on production, knowledge and skills had a positive and significant effect on income but attitudes did not affect income, production had a positive and significant effect on income, the average farmer's land area was 0.43 ha, production was 2.06 tons/season, productivity was 4.85 tons/ha, farmers' profits were Rp. 9,383,400/ha/season. |
