This report presents a case of a giant left atrial cardiac myxoma in a 57-year-old female patient who was largely asymptomatic until she presented with a diffuse thromboembolic stroke. This case report highlights the importance of surgical management of cardiac myxomas and discusses the difference in open vs minimally invasive surgical resection of giant cardiac myxomas. |
