Summary:In this article described the current understanding of morphological and functional relationship between endodontics and periodontium. It is noted that the relationship between endodontics and periodontal performed by vascular and tubular ways. Denoted the role of chronic odontogenic infection in the formation of focal diseases of internal organs and systems of the human body. Presented different national and foreign scientists hypotheses on the impact of periodontal inflammation in dental pulp and inflammation of the pulp in periodontium.
