description Analyzing the working principle of Hydro-mechanical Continuously Variable Transmission( HMCVT),and studying a HMCVT for water-dry dual-purpose high-power tractor. To design a scheme for this HMCVT accord to the complex working requirements of the water-dry dual-purpose tractor,and then to make simulation analysis of the dynamic characteristic based on the MATLAB software platform. The simulation results show that the water-dry dual-use large power tractor equipped with the HMCVT can work when runs in the water-dry land,realizing the continuous velocity.
