Description
Summary:This study postulates that from the initiatory myth raised to the status of archetype which takes place in the biotop of the forest, a spécific ecological-spiritual imagination developed from animist philosophy. Organizing the harmonic and productive relationships between humans and non-humans, this protective imaginary of the environment undermined by imperialism engaged in an ecocidal process through the exploitation of the resources of the Africain natural environment. The confrontation of the double picture based on mythocriticism and ecocriticism reveals a dichotomous environmental cultural posture at Werewere Liking. The « altercide » figure calls the decolonizing the African naturel environment by breaking the relationships between dominants and dominated based on colonial heritage.
