Summary:Abstract: The present research aims to explore the challenges faced by Business English teachers at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, Commerce and Management at Setif1. To achieve the purpose of this study, an exploratory research design is followed using a semi-structured adapted questionnaire which is administered to 11 Business English teachers selected based on a purposive convenience sampling technique. The data are analysed quantitatively using SPSS.22 and qualitatively using thematic analysis. The results reveal that teachers are facing a number of challenges with Business English teaching among which are the low level of general English proficiency, the lack of the appropriate content knowledge of Business English field, the lack of appropriate training for Business English teachers, the lack of the appropriate BE textbooks and the unavailability of Business English teaching materials. Another result indicates teachers’ suggestions to overcome these challenges.
