| Summary: | When directional perforating operations are carried out in horizontal wells, the direction is usually achieved by installing a tilted weight in the perforating gun. However, due to some uncertain factors in engineering operations, the perforating bullet and perforating gun may not be aligned with the designed direction after assembly. When optical fibers are laid on the outer side of the wellbore, misalignment of the perforating direction may damage the optical fibers, causing irreversible losses. The horizontal well avoidance of optical fiber perforating technology has increased the directional monitoring technology. Before the perforating gun is fired, the operator can accurately judge the perforating direction of the subsurface perforating bullet by using the angle measurement device installed in the perforating gun. This effectively avoids blind perforating and misperforating. This technology provides technical support for the development of optical fiber logging technology in oil and gas fields. |
