The molecular peak of warfarin after silylation has m/z 380 corresponding to the mass of trimethylsilyl-warfarin. Thus, the possibility of using IR, NMR spectroscopy and chromatography-mass spectrometry to confirm the authenticity of warfarin derivatives has been demonstrated. |
