| Summary: | Limbic encephalitis (LE) may be manifested by non-convulsive status epilepticus (NCSE). Two clinical cases of LE presenting with NCSE, one of them with a background ovarian theratoma, and the value of electroencephalographic triphasic and delta-beta waves in diagnosis of LE, are discussed in this paper. Course of glucocorticoid pulse-therapy, complimented by long-term regiment of valproic acid, is shown as a successful treatment modality for LE with NCSV. |
