description Today, the city is one of the key players in welcoming migrant populations. As a political, social, housing and urban space, the city is faced with contemporary migration and its many challenges. The reception and care of migrant children in urban environments or, on the contrary, the non-existence of such arrangements, highlight the fragility of the right to child protection in a migratory context. We will work on the reception that the city provides for these children and on the spaces reserved for them based on three contemporary picturebooks that deal with the theme of migration through the prism of child exile.
