The security order of this region can be the foundation of the international political and security order that it affects. So this article seeks to answer the questions of what is the security order in the Asia-Pacific region? Have regional institutions been able to sustainable order and stability in the region? What are the alternatives to a stable security order? In the Asia-Pacific area, which of these disciplines is possible, which is contingent, and which is preferable? The general answer to this question is that the security order in the region is chaotic and unstable.Regional institutions have not been able to establish a stable and promising order as expected. The entry of China and the United States as two major competitors to regional order is the most important challenge for existing institutions in maintaining peace and security in the region. Although the most important model of security order in the region can be collective security under the auspices of the United Nations or cooperative security under the most important security institution in the region, the ASEAN Security Forum, it is likely that in the future bipolar security order based on balance of power The shape of the Cold War period is induced, known as Churchill’s trap.
