Description
Summary:This paper aims to show how Don Ihde’s philosophy of technology, which he named post-phenomenology of human-technology relations, articulates hermeneutics, phenomenology, and pragmatism to provide an understanding of technology and the meaning of its insertions in the world of life by allowing a non instrumentalist view of technological artifacts. This triple theoretical convergence of Ihde’s post phenomenology, from the perspective of a philosophy of praxis, critically enhances our understanding of the technological phenomenon and invites us to a deeper reflection on its implications for our ways of being and living, where humans and tech artifacts are intrinsically intertwined.
