Description
Summary:A 60 year old female presented with an ulcerative lesion of lower eyelid that was slowly increasing in size over the past 6 months. The patient was provisionally diagnosed as a basal cell carcinoma of lower lid. First incision biopsy was done for confirmation followed by complete excision of the lesion combined with primary reconstruction of lower eyelid by superficial temporal artery based island forehead flap. At two year follow up the patient was symptom free and complete eyelid closure was maintained.
