Description
Summary:Nina Ferrer-Gleize’s thesis uses photography and other graphic outputs to apprehend and define the way she relates to working on a small farm. She is therefore not a sociologist per se but instead an experimental artist looking to little by little cast a light on the kinds of social relationships characterising small farms in France today. Here photography serves both as a way of objectifying the reality being observed and as a basis for reflection. Other graphic signals provide further information about various territorial and socio-agronomic realities on a farm –during the course of which process Nina discovers the role that she herself plays as an observer but also a member of the family being studied.
