description To solve the logistics distribution automatization problem of a small natural gas sales company, this paper focuses on demand forecasting based on the intelligent prediction of natural gas demand Based on the actual monitoring data of the gas storage tanks provided by the natural gas company, the instantaneous flow data were selected to be fitted and predicted. This paper categorizes the clients’ data into two types: zero regular type and zero irregular type For the most part of clients’ data, zero regular type, we applied zeropoint fragment function fitting method and curve translation method, getting satisfying result.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach could predict users’ demand efficiently and effectively.The research of this paper lays the foundation for the logistics distribution automatization.
