| Summary: | The review examines the relevant and in the current political moment research of Dr. Sonja Tsankova “Manipulation, information or... what?” (2018). Using a rich palette of research on communication and media issues (by Bulgarian, English and Russian scientists), the author relies on two basic theories: informational-communicative and linguistic (including psychotechnologies). Through them, he reveals the essence of manipulation, the management of information flows and the formation of quasi-reality. The research includes analyzes primarily of three media and information spheres – political, news and advertising. |
