Description
Summary:Retroperitoneal hemangiomas are uncommon vascular tumors that arise from blood vessels within the retroperitoneal space. Since 1950, there have been fewer than 30 reported cases of adult retroperitoneal hemangioma in the literature. A retroperitoneal hemangioma located at the left distal para-ureteric region in close proximity to the left common iliac artery bifurcation is indeed a unique and intriguing case. Here, we report a rare case of retroperitoneal hemangioma in a 57 years male, presented as left distal ureteric calculus with adjacent para-ureteric benign mass, which was managed using the minimal access approach due to the precarious location of mass adjacent to major vessels.
