Description
Summary:Purpose of the study – to determine the place of motor skills in the structure of motor training of 9-year-old karate boys in the process of learning «Yoko geri chudan» side kick. Materials and methods. The study involved 32 boys aged 9. The children and their parents were informed about all the features of the study and gave their consent to participate in the experiment. The participants reported that they could withdraw from the study at any time without explanation. All procedures were carried out in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. The following research methods were used: study and analysis of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical observation, timing of educational tasks, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics. Results. In the process of analyzing the data obtained as a result of testing 9-year-old boys, seven factors were identified that explain 78,54% of the total variance of the indicators. The largest contribution (23,3%) to the total variance of the sample is made by the factor «process of motor skills formation». The next largest contribution (16,95%) was the factor «speed-strength preparedness». The factors «static strength» (12,55%), «physical development» (9,87%), «special speed and coordination preparedness» (5,99%), «running locomotion» (5,40%), «flexibility» was also determined (4,49%). Conclusions. The data obtained as a result of the research on the factor structure of physical development, the state of motor and technical preparedness of 9-year-old boys in the process of studying the «Yoko geri chudan» kick indicate that the main factor in terms of influence is the «process of forming motor skills».
