| Summary: | In this work we are presented our results of investigations of corrosion behavior of CuZn-42 brass in acid sulphate solution, in presence of corrosion inhibitors and cupric ions. Based on the recorded anodic polarisation curves, it was concluded that with increased concentrations of cupric ions, the values of corrosion current densities also increase. The effect of corrosion inhibitors on the corrosion behaviour of brass is analyzed in the work and it is concluded that the concentration of inhibitors is 10-2% shows inhibition effect. |
